Happy NEW YEAR 2010

Drop the last year into the silent limbo of the past. Let it go, for it was imperfect, and thank God that it can go"

Every man should be born again on the first day of January. Start with a fresh page. Take up one hole more in the buckle if necessary, or let down one, according to circumstances; but on the first of January let every man gird himself once more, with his face to the front, and take no interest in the things that were and are past

Happy New Year 2010 To every body!!!

Dhanush's Kutty to Hit The Screen

A. Jawahar, who is holding the shoot of Kutty (Dhanush-Shriya) in a village on the border of Orissa and Andhra Pradesh (beyond Srikakulam).

With the completion of this shoot, Kutty will be almost complete except for a few songs. There are plans to shoot these songs in never-before-seen locations in and outside India.

Kutty is the remake of the popular Tollywood movie Arya, which made Allu Arjun a household name throughout Andhra Pradesh. With Jawahar and Dhanush teaming up for this tested theme, the film's success is a cinch. Moreover, the Dhanush-Shriya pair was a big hit with audiences in Thiruvilayadal Aarambam, a reason which made Jawahar choose Shriya over Nayantara for Kutty.

Dhanush is also acting in Aadukulam opposite Trisha under the direction of Vetrimaran, the director who made him famous through Polladhavan.

The Arctic and Antarctic Marine Life

The Arctic and Antarctic Ice oceans have revealed a trove of secrets to Census of Marine Life explorers, who were especially surprised to find at least 235 species live in both polar seas despite a distance of more than 13,000-kilometer distance in between. The scientists had found marine life that in Both Arctic And Antarctic poles apparently share in common things include marathoners such as grey whales and birds, but also worms, crustaceans, and angelic snail-like pteropods, the latter discoveries opening a host of future research questions about where they originated and how they wound up at both ends of the Earth.

Among many other findings, the scientists also documented evidence of cold water-loving species shifting towards both poles to escape rising ocean temperatures. Chionodraco hamatus, an Antarctic ice fish, can withstand temperatures that freeze the blood of all other fish types.
These discoveries result in series of landmark.

My Pondicherry(Puducherry) Trip

Usually we use to plan a lot for a trip but nevertheless it has worked out. Similarly last Monday we planned for a trip to Pondicherry. But I had a feeling that this plan was organized well. As per our plan all my friends gathered at bus stand. We then boarded a bus to Pondicherry.

We reached Pondicherry by 5pm. Then we all headed towards the prestigious Gandhi beach and had lots of fun, just the same thing we usually do. We took some interesting photographs at the beach.

The clock ticked 8pm; we went to a hotel and had our dinner. We booked a room and stayed there for the night. We then noticed the sun rays striking our face, it was 7am. We again started from that place and went to Annai Ashram, Consecrate place of mother Annai which refreshes our thoughts and feelings. I am ardent follower of Annai. Then we made our visit to temples, parks and other sight seeing places. The trip was filled with full of joy and those will remain as memorable days of my life. I would like to share my fun filled trip with you all.l…[gallery]

Sania mirza Get engaged to Mohammed Sohrab Mirza

Sania mirza Get engaged to Mohammed Sohrab Mirza. The 23-year-old sania mirza was formally engaged to Hyderabadi businessman Mohammed Sohrab Mirza on Friday.

In an exclusive, by-invitation only function at a Hyderabad luxury hotel, the evening’s celebrations were kicked off with a ceremonial exchange of rings. Sania hadn’t seen her ring, until the moment Mohammed placed it on her ring finger.

Sania was dressed in a dazzling Shantanu & Nikhil, Swarovski-studded ghagra, snugly fit at the hips and gaining in flare around the ankles. Sania had picked the colours for the occasion – emerald green and gold – much in advance.

Sania said We’ve had this choker in our family for 75 years, emerald set in dull gold. It is my mother’s. Before her, it was my dadi’s and I wanted to wear it. The assignment went to Delhi-based Shantanu, who had on a previous occasion attired Sania for an award ceremony, and he responded with an intricately embroidered three-piece ensemble.

Hearty Wishes to Sania mirza

Deep earth pumps contributes to Earth Quakes

The Scientists have discovered natural deep earth pumps and that contributes to earth quakes. The discovery was made by examining one millimeter sized cubes of exposed rock in Alice Springs, which was deformed around 320 million years ago during a period of natural mountain formation. The evidence is described in a paper published in the latest edition of Nature entitled Creep cavitation can establish a dynamic granular fluid pump in ductile shear zones.

Research leader Dr Florian Fusseis, from the University of Western Australia, said that the discovery could provide valuable information in understanding how earthquakes are formed. Dr Fusseis said, While we understand reasonably well why earthquakes happen in general, due to stress build-up caused by motions of tectonic plates, the triggering of earthquakes is much more complex.

The process, called creep cavitation, involves fluid being pumped through pores in deformed rock in mid-crustal sheer zones, which are approximately 15 km below the Earth’s surface. The fluid transfer through the middle crust also plays a key role in tectonic plate movement and mantle degassing.

The discovery was made possible through the use of high-resolution Synchrotron X-ray tomographic, scanning electron microscope observations at the nanoscale and advanced visualisation using iVEC in Western Australia.

To understand the ‘where’ and ‘when’ of earthquakes, the ‘how’ needs to be understood first. We know that earthquakes nucleate by failure on a small part of a shear zone. Dr Fusseis said that while their sample did not record an earthquake it gave them an insight into the structures that could be very small and localized precursors of seismic failure planes.
